With over two decades of hands-on experience in the meat industry, our founder, Marcus Drimecker’s journey began in Germany through an apprenticeship in the smallgoods sector. Over the course of 12 years in Germany, across various roles, he built a strong foundation through production, product development, food safety, quality, and continuous improvement — a foundation that eventually led to Australia and a career in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Auditing. As an NFSA4 Auditor, his primary focus is on helping businesses understand and implement food safety standards in a way that is practical, clear, and effective. His experience spans diverse sectors, primarily meat and pet food production, offering not only technical expertise but also the added value of international exposure — covering both low- and high-risk environments in Germany and Australia. This broad and international background enables Marcus to critically assess and benchmark industry practices, resulting in tailored, practical solutions that align global standards with local regulatory requirements. His goal is to support organisations in achieving and maintaining compliance through clear interpretation of food safety frameworks, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and operational excellence. The German precision and a result driven mindset will be brought to every project. Beyond the professional sphere, Marcus shares life with a supportive family, including a spouse, two children, and a horse. A love for travelling, camping, and 4WD reflects personal values of exploration, balance, and connection — values that are also foundational to Beyond Standards Consulting, a business built on approachability, integrity, and genuine relationships.
